Default Xpand question

This is a moronic question, I know, but I've installed Xpand with my PC/002R version LE7. I can't get it to do anything. It installed just fine and LE works great. I've tried to use it as an insert or send/receive. It pops up as a plug in and all the buttons and stuff seems to work, but it doesn't do anything. Any suggestions? I'm sure I'm doing something stupid and I apoligize for being on the same forum with the pro's, but any help is very much appreciated. The "manual" is no help.
Thanks.
Marc

Xpand is a MIDI synthesizer plugin. You need to send it MIDI data, either from a MIDI controller or a MIDI/Instrument track for it to do anything.

Spkguitar,
Thanks so much. I am just starting to read the material on your site. It's very helpful.
BTW, I do have the RolOrgAhaSisWeil Classic, but mine is the combo Kombobulator/Flaginator model. Do you know why I get a "user stupid: 0063" message when I try to enter Flagination mode?
Thanks again.
Marc
