Default Digi001 with other than protools?

Hi all,
Jorge here, back in da game LOL

These days I´m making a diy elctronic drumset and plan to use ez or superior drummer. Problem is I have the 001 and I see it´s not compatible with PT7 or above which is what I would need to run ezdrummer......

so the question is, what other software is compatible with the 001 and ezdrummer, so that I can lay dawn drum tracks in it and then finish the mix in PT?

thanks in advance!

jorge

You could check out REAPER.

Superior Drummer in REAPER using the 001 will do the job. I've tried it and the combo works great. Your 001 will have a long extended life cycle long after its abandonment from it's original DAW.

My 001 has no idea it's supposed to be landfill. It gives me ADC, "unlimited" tracks, faster than real time bounce...
Cubase and 001 have been a rock solid combination.
001 and Reaper 3 is looking like the bargain of the decade...

Even though I moved on to other Digi hardware over the years, my PCI based 001 stays with me.

It's also the only Digi product I'm aware of that you didn't need the I/O breakout box attached to launch and run Pro Tools(or any other audio app) because the Adat I/O is on the back of the PCI card. My 001 system is more powerful than my 003 system. It has all the features I wish my 003 rig had. Go figure.
