Default Motu Midi Express Xt

I was having a lot of problems with Midi I/O. My older midi patch bays (although in mint condition) could no longer be used with the latest operating systems....so finally between the Mio 10 and Motu Midi Express XT I chose the latter.

Been using it with Pro Tools for a while and and loving it so far. With their editor (Clockworks) you can do all the filtering, rechannelizing, remapping...etc. It has additional SYNC features that most people won't use but it's there. It can also be used as a standalone patch bay.

It didn't have a "learning curve" really, but I captured my experience with it as a review/video manual/walk-through video. There are some mistakes in the official pdf manual which are all been corrected in this video. Feel free to check it out:
