Default Forgotten how to use Time adjutser???

Ok I have incurred a delay of 5124 samples from the plugins I have used so I put the time adjutser long plugin on the track and put 5124 into it and it seems to have delayed the signal by this amount again. I am sure I have done something wrong and cant remember how to do this. WHat did I do?

Cheers

L.Dudley

Can't you just manually nudge the offending track by that much..forward in time ? (earlier)
Or, use that Time adjuster on all the other tracks, so that they'll be delayed by the same amount.
good luck,

It´s the other tracks that need to be delayed.

You could also setup a delayed bus and a non delayed bus.
Just be aware that if you do it this way, the aux returns also has to be delayed. And that if you send the delayed track to an aux bus it will be delayed there too.

Best solution, AVOID plugins with delay.
In reality, be carefull with delaying anything until mix time, if you record a new track it will be off, compared to the other tracks.
Check which plugins that have delay. Like the Gate III, the old gate didn´t have.
A verb with a little delay is okay, just functions as pre-delay.
If you have the Fxpansion vst-rtas you can also use the Voxengo Pristine Space, it can be setup for very low latency.

How do you find out how many samples your tracks are being delayed by?

So what use is Time Adjuster actually useful for? When you are only using 2 tracks or something?
