Default Simple Question 4 Simple Answer..

How come track 2 on pro tools never records correct for me? It never records sound... its just a blank waveform!

Because you haven't set it to the proper input?

Really hard to answer the question if we don't know anything about your setup and/or how you are doing things. What's your I/O setup? What source are you tring to record from? How do you have the track(s) setup? What's the input on that track set to?

More info is needed to answer your question.

Are you trying to record a mono signal onto a stereo audio track? I agree with spkguitar that its likely a setup issue.

K thanks guys I didnt have the input set on mic/line 1... it was on set on mic/line 2 . dumb mistake.
