12.8.1 crash during bounce

may i ask, did you trash Prefs after the install of 12.8.1 ???

and looking at website, thats a pretty damn cool plugin .. could there be an update that needs installing ?? just thinking out loud ..

Its RX6 De-plosive. Bypassing it, everything runs fine. Never happened before though, just on this exact position in this session. Weird. I've emailed Izotope about the issue.

Same here can only bounce to disk in real time...

Edit:
I can offline bounce from simple sessions - but the moment I have more than a few bus channel - then I get the spinning beachball of death. In some sessions I had my stem outputs sent to the inputs of tracks - managed to offline bounce once I deleted those tracks, but on other sessions I just gave up troubleshooting it. Going back to 12.8.

so it is a 3rd party plugin !!! is there an update for it ??

I've had the same LFO Tool problem, contacted the very friendly Steve @ Xfer, and he sent me a link to a download. Hope this helps!

Command-shift-G in Finder
/Library/Application Support/Avid/Audio/Plug-Ins
delete LFOTool.aaxplugin

replace with this one (unzipped):

I'm having the same problems since installing 12.8.1, I can bounce / freeze / commit form VERY simple sessions, but as soon as it gets more complex, it will freeze, right at the beginning of a b /f /c.

I've opened sessions with the SHift key, deactivating all the plug-ins, and then I can do one b/f/c, but as soon as I activate more stuff, the freezes happen again...

I shall call Avid Tech Support. Hell, I'm paying for it!

same here, but not on all sessions. lot of sessions which are quite bigger work fine. but there is that one session, where it always freezes during offline bounce. when deleting some tracks/auxes (only waves plugs) then it works. but it still works then when inserting again some new tracks...

already tried to Clean Session of Unused Files, an Saved as a Copy... didnt change anything...

i still give 12.8.1 a try...cause its only that one session at the moment

same here... offline bounce is slower than realtime bounce in 12.8.1
