midi note not sounding
To Midi Users,
Having a slight problem getting my Kronos Mk2 to trigger midi notes inside the BBCSO Plugin using its usb out with ProTools Ultimate 2020.3.0 running MacOS Mojave 10.14.5 could anyone offer a bit of midi help. All Instruments are loaded and record ready inside the plugin but I can only play the samples from the keyboard interface inside the BBCSO plugin but not via my main keyboard. Regards |

Assuming all your USB MIDI connections are set up correctly and your Kronos MIDI out is set up correctly, have you set up the MIDI Studio properly inside Pro Tools? You need Pro Tools to recognize the Kronos as a MIDI controller. Does the Kronos work properly with other VI's?

Re: midi note not sounding
In the Audio Devices panel of audio Midi setup I see the Kronos USB has only 2ins/2outs which shows a microphone inside the devices panel.
Not sure if the USB is configured how would I get Pro Tools to recognize the Kronos as my main MIDI controller. I have VI's and they sound using the mini keyboard inside the Vi instrument but no longer being triggering via the Kronos. I had some Vi's working before in Omini mode or channels 1to16 this setup is not working presently. Regards |
