I have a new MacPro and Digi002 and I am getting -6093 error (I know the MP isn't official yet)
I was trying to use an external FW400 enclosure (i think the drive is a barracuda but not sure).. The enclosure is some CompUsa brand (MadDog Multimedia?) so I'm not sure if it has the oxford911 chipset.. I suspect the drive is the culprit but I'm not sure (anyway to tell?) Maybe it has to do with how I connect the drive (startup sequence)? I figure I have these choices so I'm lookin for advice: 1.Buy this: FW enclosure and put in a couple ATA drives I already have (not RAIDed) and connect via FW800 2. Buy a preconfigured external FW drive (800 or 400) from someone like Glyph 3. Buy a SATA drive and load it up internally Portability isn't really an issue at this point, but maybe in the future I am inclined toward the first option cause it has fans to keep it cool and I can get a long cable to hide it away somewhere quiet. I also already have the drives and I'd like to make use of them Option 2 is probably the most reliable but most expensive OK, what say you all?
