You can run virus protection and still use Source Connect without a problem.
The thing to do is in your virus protection software make an "exception" for the Source-Connect application to fully communicate to any web address. The other thing is to turn off any active scans of every packet coming and going in the computer because that active packet inspection will slow down the stream and could cause dropouts. All other methods your virus protection software uses should not cause any issues for SC. |
