Mbox 3 and El Capitan drivers

install 1.2.8. driver OSx 10.11.3

on OSx 10.9.5 (Mavericks) installation works correctly.

Drivers working now. But latest update (10.11.3) kills Pro Tools.

Same issue. New driver allowed the Mbox 3 to be detected and used for playback but absolutely nothing is coming through the inputs. Tried several cables, several devices, all of the inputs....nothing

So after uninstalling/reinstalling the driver and rebooting. The Mbox is picking up my input when I assign a channel and monitor in Live, but it doesnt pick up any input without opening a DAW.....weird

I cant just be sitting on the desktop, playing some iTunes, plug in a synth and start jamming...whys that?
