klark teknik 76kt meter crooked

My klark teknik 76kt showed up today and the meter is in crooked. If you look at the pic I attached the top left corner to the bottom left corner is sloped to the right and the meter is too far to the right. Is this something that I can open the unit and fix easily or do I need to send it back? I asked the supplier the same question but he said he cant give any advice and to ship back for repair though it will take about 7-10 business days before I have it back which I don't want to wait if I can just adjust its position easily. What would you guys recommend? Thanks

Why does it have to be repaired as opposed to them shipping you a new one? I'd send it back.

Yes I’d request a new one, b/c if it hit hard enough to make that come loose what else could be damaged inside.

If you open it up you usually void the warranty FYI

Send it back and get a STAM audio or Warm Audio 76 as the Klark stuff is not great which is no secret. IMHO of course! It is like behringer and doesn’t do much compared to WA2A and WA76. I would send them borh back and either save for the WA stuff which sounds great for the money or if you have the funds get the right gear from the beginning.

You can fix it easily. Its a standard standoff inside for all these types of compressors. Every 1176 type compressor has the same setup more or less.
