blackmagic decklink STUDIO - anybody using it?

i'm going to buy a HD video card for my protools rig.

i see everybody is using decklink extreme, which is much more expensive than studio.

is there a significant difference in performance / connections between the two?

Go to this page and select HD Extreme in one column and Studio in the other column. Compare.

I don't have direct experience with either but they each use the same driver with Pro Tools. They should behave the same for any format they both support.

Yes I use the Studio, it works perfectly and was certainly less expensive when I bought it than the Extreme was. It's the only other card that takes reference input. Works perfectly with PT9.

Currently using 8.0.1 driver
