Hot-swap SCSI and Adaptec 2940
I just came into a Glyph dual-bay hot-swap SCSI enclosure and two 10k drives in sleds at a great price (since no one is using them any more).. This will hopefully allow me to replace the drive enclosure that just fried after a number of years of great service, and keep me from having to replace an ancient, but unbelievably stable system with PT 5. Does anyone know if the Glyph will work with my trusty 9600/Adaptec 2940/d24/Mix system? I would think that the Adaptec card might be a problem, if there is a problem. I will plug it all in tomorrw, just wanted to know if anyone has had a similar setup, and experienced difficulty. Thanks.

The 2940 will work with the 9600 in the buss master slot.. the equivalent dual SCSI card 3940 is not a buss master card and would be happy in any slot.
