I was asked by a potential buyer for a ProControl 16-channel mixer (purchased in 2003-2004) whether it was compatible with ProTools 7.4.

Are there compatibility issues between mixers and software versions? Or are any such issues limited to software and Mac or Windows operating system versions?

Are you asking about compatibility between a Pro Control and Pro Tools 7.4 LE or HD as that is a big difference.
