Pro Tools 9 Running Great!
I just wanted to post and say how pleased I am with the Pro Tools 9 upgrade.
In the past I've done nothing but complain about how badly Pro Tools 8 performed on my system. Freezing, noise bursts, interrupt errors , etc. Since I've installed 9 the problems have gone away. I've been working on a fairly large project for 2 days now and not one problem. Nothing. It just works. It's like a different piece of software...well, I guess it is. I read that it's not a fix to LE but a new software based on HD. So in the midst of all the complaining about the upgrade price, I'd just like to say that I'm very happy with it. Pro Tools finally seems like what it should have been all along. |

Re: Pro Tools 9 Running Great!
Running good here too so far. I gave up on PT back in April when my Mbox2 quit. but was used to the GUI so when I saw that PT9 was standalone, I bit.
I'm using Apogee Duet I/O and everything seems to be working after a bit of tweaking on the Mac.

Re: Pro Tools 9 Running Great!
Same here after some install-trouble ...
Now it works perfect with my Fireface 400. Only to change the samplerate or Clock settings or something like this, is a bit tricky. fb |

Re: Pro Tools 9 Running Great!
Yes, same here. Working great. I was at 8.03 and it was ok, occasional crash with video online and surround sessions. So far much better now with 9.

Re: Pro Tools 9 Running Great!
I'll add to the chorus of "me too's"... Running smoothly on my MBP i5 17" with a Duet. I'm still tweaking a few settings, but overall, nice job Avid.
Now I have to move everything back from Logic... tg
