Default why doesn't "control/click" work on midi regions?

pro tools 8 LE on a mac with 10.5.8.

indeed, I've attempted the "control click" method while moving a midi region so that it is anchored to the insertion point as you move it vertically up and down in the edit window. Since this is old hat with audio regions, one would expect to be able to do the same with midi regions.

however, it doesn't work. instead when control clicking a midi region it switches from region view to note view.

please fix this in the next PT 8 update.

cheers!

AL

FIX? A usable feature? Don't mess with that one! Try holding command-pressing X, then P or ; (to navigate vertically through tracks), then V to effectively relocate the region.

well...c'mon...if it's control click that works with audio regions then it should work for ALL regions.

digidesign can simply come up with a different key command for the feature that you've been enjoying.

control click IS taken.
