Default New session stuck in Mono???!!!!

Anyone have any idea why I am stuck in mono? I have automated some mutes on two vocal tracks and now can't seem to change any of pans on any of the tracks except for the reverb aux track. Pans will move left or right but the sound just stays in the middle. Pans are staying where I put them and don't snap back. Mono button in 002 is not pushed. Auto read is on.
Any ideas?

Thanks
