Personal Templates Issue...
W10 AU, PT 12.7.1.
All is fine and stable for the most part, just the odd crash when closing one session and opening another or closing the program, usually after bouncing out a file. But this is something I came across today. AFAICR, in previous versions I could swap different personal templates out of a folder I had made in C:>Documents>Pro Tools>Session Templates and swap new templates in and only the new templates would show up in Pro Tools>Create. Today I tried this and the new templates were there and so were the old ones. What? I closed PT, deleted the old templates, opened PT...still there. I used Trasher, rebooted...still there. I uninstalled and reinstalled PT...still there Finally, I searched my hard drive for Session Templates and lo and behold there they all were in the Programs Folder. I swapped out the old for new there and now only the new templates show up in PT. Apparently PT was loading all the templates from the Programs Folder into the Documents Folder. Anyone know when the ability to just swap out templates in the PT Documents Folder disappeared?
