Default HOw to Reset Min:sec

Well this is probably a rookie question, but I can see no way to do this, so I'll you pros. I like to have a couple measures in front of the start of all my sessions. It just makes things easier for me to see and also allows me a little space at the front to park something if I need to. In normal audio sessions, I just renumber the bars so 3 becomes 1 and I get 2 measures up front (-1 and 0) What I can't seem to be able to do is get the Min:Sec to begin at 0:00 at the new measure 1 beat 1. Min:Sec always starts at the very beginning of the session screen. I can change the Timecode on the setup menu easily enough, but there doesn't seem to be an equivalent way to do it with the Min:Sec.

There HAS to be a way to do that, but if there is, I'm not seeing it and can't find it in the manual either. I'm clearly not searching for the right term in the manual. Can one of you kind souls please point me in the right direction on this? Thanks

Is this because you can't have negative time?

Yeah maybe. I'm really not sure. I just assumed that if I could reset the timecode then I ought to be able to re-set the Min:Sec too.

And, hey, negative time didn't stop Stephen Hawking! He even used imaginary numbers!

I believe so, not possible.
But you could put your song /project to the HH:MM:SS:FF 01:00:00:00 and the session start time to whatever you need earlier.
And mentally disregard the 01-hour ... .
Like in movie post production, where the start of the movie is 01:00:00:00 and everything technical/leader/countdown is prior to that.

Yes, I know. Thanks so much. What would be nice is being able to have multiple 0 points. That would be very useful for video game composers who often create multiple sequences with different layers that will be used depending on the state of game play and the players actions/choices. It might be that each theme is, say, 1-2minutes or so, but you may have 8-12 variations of it. If you put, say, a couple empty measures between each one and could renumber those measures to 1, along with timecode AND Min:sec...it'd make life easier. You could have all of them in the same session, each starting and stopping with their own measure/beat/min:sec/timecode attached.
