Using 002 Rack live / standalone
Hey Folks-
I work in a studio that runs an HD3 Accel system. I also play in a touring band, that uses Reason as a soft synth live. Currently, our keyboard player routes audio directly out of his laptop, into a preamp and then splits to house and his own amp. We need to upgrade this situation so that there are multiple outs, ie: stereo to his amp, stereo to the drummer for possible loop based stuff, and perhaps a discreet send to the house. I have also been hankering to get my hands on an LE system so that I can work on material away from the studio proper. Can I kill both of these birds with one stone? Would the 002 R perform well enough as a stand alone audio interface? Or do I really need a different piece of hardware for this task. Thanks for any advice. Cheers, Ryan |
