Useing both SPDIF (RCA+TOSLINK) at the same time!!

Can this be done??

I currently have a VoiceMaster Pro, with digital option (via my RCA SPDIF in), and I am useing the VoiceMaster Pro as Sync Master (Sync via spdif RCA).. This i LOVE!!! it sounds great!!...

But now i want to use my Lexicon MPX550 with my system!!.. (SPDIF outputs)..

How can i use both?? not at the same time, nessecaraly.. I have a converter for COAX > Toslink.. so i can convert my MPX550's SPDIF to toslink and manually select toslink as spdif!! No prob!!

BUT!! can i maintain my VM pro as clock master, og will i loose the sync when I use the toslink??

PLEASE HELP (Digi techsup perhaps)
