Eleven Rack and 003 Rack

Hello - I have an Eleven rack and 003 Rack + that I would like to use together. My system is an I-Mac running Snow Leopard with Protools LE and the Euphonix Artist Series. Is there a way I can use both input systems and keep the full feature set of the Eleven Rack? Thanks in advance...Cheers!

You can't have both systems linked together for more inputs/outputs, but you can switch between them in the same session.

The other option is to use the 11R plugged into the spidf of the 003, and record your guitar parts that way. You would be using the 11R just like an external preamp.

Thanks for the reply. I know if I use the 11R as the main input device, PT will record both wet / dry tracks and save the info. Do I loose that if I set it up as an external pre-amp? And I'm curious as to how to switch between them. 11R is USB and the 003 is Firewire. Are you talking about just swapping them out and letting PR "see" which one is active? Thanks again...I'm pretty new to this stuff if you cant tell :)

I had the 11R but decided to return it, so I don't remember all the details.

But to switch between it and the 003 in the middle of a session, there's an option in the upper left menus that lets you do it. I think it's under "setup". It may be a new feature that was added since the 11R came out, but it just takes a few seconds, and it's pretty cool.
