Default Reverb One settings lost

Hey there all...

I somehow lost my link to the settings for my Rev One. The actual settings are still in the Plug-in settings folder in the DAE folder, and can be individually imported, but the nice neat folders with all the presets are missing. All I have is 'factory default'.

I really like to use the settings as springboards to good reverbs, and though I admit I don't usually use them as they are, I still miss them. Waaaaaaa....

Is there an easy way to relink the settings, with category folders in tact, back to Rev One?

Thanks......

While your here... I just started using Reverb One and notice an incredible amount of screen redraw problems. Are you seeing the same thing? I'm on a cubed system, OS9.2.2 and a G4 8??.

Hi Agus-

No, I haven't had any issues with redraws, just the problem stated above. Maybe someone else knows...

Go to "Settings Preferences>Set Root Settings Folder..." in the plug-in settings menu. Select the "Plug-in Settings" folder in the DAE folder. DO NOT SELECT THE FOLDER FOR ANY SPECIFIC PLUGIN. This is a GLOBAL preference for plugin settings. In other words, if you change it in one plugin it changes it for ALL of them. This should fix your problem.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">If this doeasnt work try this..
When you next use reverb one save a dummy preset - just use save and give it any name.
Then quit out of pro tools and look for the folder it saved it in. Chances are it is in a different folder to the onve the reverb presets are in.
Next just move the resets into the folder created by reverb one for the dummy preset file.
Bingo - !!

ekuehnl- thanks, it did the trick. Scary how easily you can lose the link to your settings, but comforting to see how easily they are restored.
