Default Another expansion pack crash!!!! Please help!!!!!

i got my expansion pack today, I run window 7 32bit, with NO IE 9 installed, opening things up and getting started. after i had entered the register code and stuff, I pressed enter, then the window disappeared. i have tried at least 5 times on re-installing the thing, and every time i open the eleven rack updater, it just doesnt open. i had my firewall off and did it again, nothing happened. Please help me!!!!!
P.s. I just installed the Eleven rack driver, but still no good news
Thank you!!!!!

Is your Eleven Rack connected to the PC via USB and powered?

Do you have the drivers installed?

Is Pro Tools CLOSED before you try running the Firmware Updater?

Did you try to launch with Run As Admin?
Right Click the Firmware updater and choose Run As Administrator instead of double-clicking.

Are you connected to the internet? Because you must be.

It really sounds like an IE9 error, but you say you don't have it. Best to double check and make sure.

To uninstall Internet Explorer 9, go to Programs and Features, up in the left-top, click View Installed Updates, then click on MS IE9 and uninstall it.

One thing to check is that you have an "Eleven Rack DFU" driver listed in the Win7 Device Manager. That driver is needed for the firmware updater to run. And I think Benoni's suggestions are definitely worth trying.
