MIDI Change Start Times
This must be a newbie question, but I haven't been able to figure it out. Let's say I've step recorded some MIDI as quarter notes, and I really need sixteenth notes. I can use Change Durations to shorten them. However, I really also want to slide them all back so they have different start times. Haven't figured out a way to do that. I know I could always increase the tempo 4x, but that would be kind of strange.

Re: MIDI Change Start Times
So you want, for example, 4 quarter notes that you have programmed in one bar to be 4 16th notes in one beat instead?
Make sure you are in grid mode. Set the track view to be "regions" instead of "notes". Separate the region on the bar markers. Use the TCE tool to compress the bar to one beat by dragging the end of the region to the end of the beat. This will change the start times and the durations. Can be applied to regions of any size.
