Additional MIDI
Can one run an M-box mini and use something like a midi sport uno to run the midi controls?? Just wondering if pro tools recognizes an additional usb controller.
Thanks! |

Re: Additional MIDI
As far as I am aware, yes it will. It most deffinately does with m-powered, as I use the uno, and my profire 2626. I would imagine it works the same.

Re: Additional MIDI
Thanks necjamc,
That's what I was thinking from reading around the DUC and previous pro tools use but can anyone confirm this to fact? I just sold my 003 so I want to make sure I purchase the right thing. thanks! |

Re: Additional MIDI
MIDI is actually handled by the OS and protools is is just one of the items that taps into the service... In other words, if you can get your controller to be recognized by the OS then ProTools will see it too.. And yes, a MIDI Sport will work. I have a 2x2 and it needs a driver, but the Uno may not need one.
