Default Beat Detective PT11

I'm trialling Pro Tools 11. While it hurts to lose a bunch of plugins (Abbey Road / Soundtoys probably being the ones I miss the most), the performance is undeniably improved. On my i7 Macbook Pro (Early 2011), a session in 10 which uses anything more than 35-40% CPU constantly glitches. No such problems so far with 11.

However - one thing I'm noticing is that Beat Detective is significantly slower. Separating, conforming, edit smooth - all are noticeably slower than in previous versions.

Is it just me? Wanted to find out if anyone else is experiencing the same thing. I'm editing the drum tracks for an album, and I feel like this is making a big job take even longer.

No it's not just you, myself and another friend are seeing this also, painfully slow Beat detective.

Avid any word on this? Is this how it is for everyone?

I've reported the same thing. Hoping for a fix.

Perhaps a bit off topic, but have you checked out the Soundtoys beta for aax? I have been using them and have had no issues.

Sadly the beta is only for bundle owners - I just use the individual boutique plugs (Devil-Loc/Radiator/Little Microshift). Hopefully won't be long.

This is silly. I've got AAX2 versions of most of the plug-ins I need but am now going back and forth between PT10 and 11 to use Beat Detective. Why so slow in PT11? What gives?!

I did my first session today on PT 11 from PT 10 now that most of my plugins are in 11 aax 64 bit format...boy was that scary..

... editing wise beat detective is (painfully) slow ( comparing to v10) on analyzing, separating, fades etc and is not processing correctly on the backend of the software and and also when consolidating the Beat detected files ( drums ) on some tracks it added a glitch sound 10 about 10 spots to perfectly tracked sounds ( yes i know how to properly fade etc it added some weird high pitched thing randomly and i tried it on two computers, been editing in PT for 10 years ) , i undid the consolidation and the glitch was gone something funky happening with Beat detective... will there be an update to address this? pretty scary.. thank you.

otherwise i do like HD 11 just not when this stuff happens on my first use giving it a shot after putting it off for a while coming from V10 ( i have mixed a few songs on it prior)
