11.3.2 for 12 owners only?

Still no joy here - no PT11.3.2 and probably won't have it until maybe next week which will tee me off no end. Way to piss off your loyal customers, Avid.

You know I used to praise Avid and PT to the ends of the world but that has come to an end I didn't see coming. Now if someone asks about using PT instead of or in addition to another daw s/w I just shake my head and walk away.

Again - where the heck is anyone from Avid to explain this? Or is it that they just don't care anymore about loyalty?

Maybe it could be AVIDs spiteful way of dealing out punishment to version 11 Users for not signing up for PT 12 yet LOL ,

..., or perhaps PT 12 might be so full of bugs that those 12 users need to revert back to 11 again to get up and running

..., anyhow enough of my goofing around , I just hope they pull their finger out release it pronto , as the read me mentions; a bug fix that stopped a V.I from working (but does not mention which one) ???



I am sweating on it finally being the bug fix for the AVID CoreAudio Plugin (in the HAL Folder) ..., that has been stopping me from using all my Native Instruments stuff for so long (and Triumph 2.5)

Something I've been wondering about is this rollout of the 11.3.2 update may have happened earlier than Avid intended due to a goof by someone at Avid. Maybe it wasn't intended to come out until way later in the year or even into 2016. Pure speculation on my part.

Close, but not quite.

11.3.2 was "stealth announced" with S6 v2.

Avid have a problem that not enough S6 owners are ProTools 12 users yet. They might be 12 owners, but not users.

So, if they announced that the latest S6 version wasn't compatible with ProTools 11, think how much grief they'd get.

It also explains why 11.3.2 has only been released so far to 12 owners, and hasn't even yet been officially announced.

Okay, but that doesn't begin to explain why Avid changed their method of rolling out updates. Other than a goof on someone's part there has to be a rational explanation from Avid on this.
