Follow Globals option is GONE!!

Since updating to Pro Tools 10.3.7 I no longer have the option "Follow Globals" when creating or editing a group. Even in old sessions it has disappeared. The check box is just gone completely when i click "edit group".

Is this in a different spot or did I turn it off somehow?

Hi,

Im on 10.3.7 and still there as normal.

Groups> modify. attributes will be unavailable if follow globals is ticked but the global options for all the inserts are still there for volume, mute, pan etc.

anything unusual about your group?

Nothing unusual just a couple mono audio tracks or maybe all my drum tracks. But even when I open previous sessions where global was applied, the check box to select it is literally gone. Its a feature ive been using for years and im baffled as to what the heck happened

I can't remember but is this a HD or production tool kit only option? have you changed versions at all? or running on a different interface etc!!

I think you cracked the code. I had production tool kit for school and it expired after a year which would be right about the time i lost the option.

Wow AVID really is an awful [bleep][bleep][bleep][bleep]ing company. So happy i spend years of my life and thousands of dollars getting certified and then basic features in other software suites are treated like premiums that get stripped away. I have more to say but now i have a lot more clicking to do. Thanks for [bleep][bleep][bleep][bleep]ing the end user again AVID!
