Do a search here for Audigy drivers. Sounds like you may need to download new ones for your soundcard.

Faccia una ricerca qui per i driver di Audigy. I suoni come voi possono avere bisogno di di trasferire i nuovi dal sistema centrale verso i satelliti per il vostro soundcard.

Hi!
I use "special" drivers for my SB live 5.1 player, but I think they don´t work with Audigy cards. The drivers let me work with PTFree, without them I was not able to use PTFree. The original Creative drivers seem to have a bad performance.

But if you´re sure the soundcard makes problems try this: http://www.kxproject.spb.ru/

But READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!!! You have to download the drivers AND two modified .dll files (MFC and MSVCRT libraries (Debug versions)) from this site. Without the .dll´s it doesn´t work.

I nerver tried them but i´ve heard many good things of it. Use them at your own risk!

If the drivers do not give you that satisfaction you want, try my drivers, maybe they work, I REALLY DON`T KNOW -> http://come.to/sblive and click on "AUDIO PRODUCTION STUDIO".(Get rid of the "Gator" installation request by pressing Alt+F4!!!)

I would try this. Uninstall PTFree and delete afterwards all Digidesign folders (some will not be deleted through uninstall). Search your harddisk with Start->Find for "Digidesign"

Delete/Uninstall the Audigy drivers and restart.

Go to your BIOS (during booting press Del or F8, it depends on your PC) and disable your onboard soundcard.
It could be possible that your onboard SC makes trouble (same interrupt shared with the Audigy??).

Restart

Install the Audigy

Restart

Install PTFree

Reastart

Good luck
