albee. Sorry I'm late responding to your last entry. I was in no way offended by what you said. I understand, but I'm running Pro tools 9.0.6 up from the original 9 install. The upgrade was implemented by Sweetwater support in an effort to afford me a more pleasant and smoother operating experience. I know you swear by 9.0.3 but that wasn't the case for me. My optimizations are all set up as per recommendations. I have added a couple of 3rd party plugins but I doubt that is the reason for the problems. Since I'm no where near your level of computer expertise, it's better that I not venture into technical areas and possibly make things worse. I can't afford HD or for that matter a MAC at this point in time so obviously I'll either have to endure the aggravations or cash in my chips and I'm too stubborn to do that. Thanks for your continued patience.
