EZ drummer in Pro tools wont play with electronic Roland Kit
Hi Guys ive Just got ez drummer 2 and loaded it in pro tools on an instrument track armed the track and tried to play my Roland digital kit with it, strange thing is nothing happens.
 Ive got SSD4 by slate and that's all you have to do, but for the life of me I cant get EZ drummer 2 to work with my electronic kit. Ive read the manual and there is nothing in it about getting it to work in pro tools with an electronic kit???? Im hoping someone here can help me out

Does EZ Drummer have a profile for your Roland e-kit? You might want to look into that. With a vi on an Instrument track there is no need to arm a track for a controller to play the vi. Just make sure MIDI through is selected and you have 'use first selected MIDI instrument/stream (whatever it's called) in the MIDI tab of preferences.
