Unistall and Install Pro Tools 2020- Questions
Hi,
I want to install Pro Tools 2020. I am on Pro Tools ultimate 2019 HDX system MacOS High Sierra So I heard is better to uninstall the Pro Tools Software first and then Install the new version. when I uninstall Pro Tools: That erase: -The Plugin Folder with the Plugins? -The Plugin Preset Folder? What OS and version? What is your current version of Pro Tools? System info?

On Windows, uninstalling Pro Tools does not touch plugins or sessions at all.
Some stuff to remember: To uninstall on Windows, Right-click Start and select Apps & Features. In that window on the upper, right under Related settings, click Programs & features and find Pro Tools on that list. Right-click and select Change. If you see an option to uninstall Pro Tools AND HD driver, DO uninstall the HD driver(regardless of what version or hardware you have)

Just run the installer. On mac there has never been an unistaller for a long time.
I would only uninstall the HD driver but thats it.
