Found a possible bug
So I just got PT8 today and am loving thus far. I do have one thing to report though, maybe minor but non the less a little annoying. So here is what happens:
I set my instrument track's output to bus 1-2 for example and then set my audio track's input to bus 1-2 to print the instrument track I have recorded. While the audio track is record enabled I hit play and no levels show up on the audio track's meter. But then if I hit record, it has no problem recording the instrument track to the audio track. Very strange. But in any event it does work when hitting record but you can't preview it to set your levels correctly. Just in case, here are my systems specs on this machine: Mac Pro Quad 2.66 GHz 5GB Ram OSX 10.5.5 Pro Tools 8 MBox 2 Let me know if you need more info. But like I said it's more of an annoyance than a a huge problem. Maybe someone can confirm this as well. Happy Holidays everyone! |
