002, no SPDIF Output?!
Hi All,
Hopefully someone can shed some light on this.... I have a 002 but in the output pane of the i/o setup page, there is no spdif connections. They are there as expected in the input pane, just not the output...any ideas? any help very much appreciated... Greg

Re: 002, no SPDIF Output?!
Hmm...I've done some more digging, and here's what I've got:
There seems to be an anomaly with the i/o page. On the input pane, there is a picture of the 002, as you would expect, and underneath the available inputs 1 - 8, marked 'analogue' and 9&10 marked 'SPDIF', and I have set up a stereo path accordingly. All well and good, however... The output pane just has the picture of the 002 and the inputs are listed as 1 - 10, with no labels at all. To see if it would work I made a stereo output path at undefined 9&10 and it does indeed send digital audio out of the SDIF. Is this a bug/known issue/or is it unlabeled for a reason? I am on 7.4cs2 PT LE if that has any bearing. Also the returning signal is naught but full scale broadband noise, though I think that must be an issue with my outboard unit.... Anyone got any ideas?! Greg
