Default Yellow Screens with plug ins

I just installed pro tools 8.01 on my new mac mini. Working with an 002. The new mini came with snow leopard.

Things seem to work fine but when I open Strike, Xpand, Structure, they come up with an ugly yellow screen. They work, but the screen makes it unusable. Any thoughts?

that is usualy behavior of AIR plug under 10.6 since PT is not really compatible yet, or AIR in that case.

Are your plugins up to date? Check this out: http://www.digidesign.com/index.cfm?...n=news_details
I had the yellow plugins problem when I had the pre-Leopard versions installed. Good luck.

Thanks. I'll try the updates.

And I mis"spoke". Xpand words fine. It's just Strike and Structure Free.

I think I've read others having this problem so it is a known problem for running Snow Leopard which is not yet approved for Protools and their plug ins.

has anyone figured out anything else regarding this topic? I just installed Pro Tools 8 along with Snow Leopard last night, and I'm getting this also with STRIKE and HYBRID... everything else is fine.

Strike and Hybrid are not yet compatible with Snow Leopard. And Digi has just recently added a prerelease for SL, which isn't fully qualified.

A pre release of Protools (verison 8.0.3). The yellow color AIR plugins from digidesign are a know problem. Hopefully a fix is near.
