Default MIDI is hurting my feelings...

OK so.. I've been recording for awhile, but I don't know much about midi. I have an Mbox and reason adapted, whose softsynths I can control from my korg. My problem is that I can't get the Korg sound mods into pro tools (I use a M audio 1+1 usb for my midi interface). I want to be able to control reason, but also to use the sounds from the Korg independently. I know it's some configuration thing I have set up wrong, but any common advice would be great.
thanks
