Default Old hardware new mac

So I've had Pro Tools LE 6.4 laying around for years with MBox1, but I only recently bought a computer to use it with. I just installed it on my Macbook OS X 10.5.6 but whenever I try to open it it says "the Digidesign hardware is already in use with another program". I'm assuming I need to upgrade my Pro Tools version as the one I have is quite old. is there any way to Use Pro Tools LE 6.4 with OS X 10.5.6???
Thanks

No, you need 7.4.2 or 8, which are both paid updates.

Here's the grid:

Your Mbox is OK, just not the software..

About 3-4 lines below the duck is the "new thread" button...

Navigate to the user area you'd like to post in, then look at the upper right of the area. You'll see a "button" that says "Forum Tools." Click on that, and you'll see an option for posting a new thread. You have to make sure you're in a user area first, such as "Pro Tools for Mac..."

Understood. I actually had to go through the steps to remind myself how to do it.
