Default When You Do a Clean Uninstall, Does it Delete Your Plug-ins folder?

I'm preparing my system for LE 8, but before I do, I need to know if doing a clean uninstall of 7.4, will delete all of my third-party plug-ins located in the Pro Tools plug-ins folder along with the Digidesign plugs.

I have a ton of third party plugs, so I'm a little concerned.

Thanks

No - you can do it with assurance it won't, I agree the installer is a little ambiguous. To be safe back up your machine before you begin.

Like a posted a few days ago, I installed PT8 ovewriting PT7.
Everything work ok, included Amp2.
I've read some scary stuff around here about the problems that can show up in the future with the system, if the installing is done the way I did it!
As long as my system works great now...can I still get this problems?

Why bother? If it works...keep working:)

Seriously, only some really experienced users would know the answer.
