Creative Collection Install error

I get error 2147213312 when i install protools. I've installed it twice before on this computer and never seen this. I just got it back from toshiba with a new hardrive...


I know a lot of stuff isnt the optimal setup but it worked decent before I dont know what this is all about

nobodys knows about this?



I read what I could find about it. Most people fix it by deleting some kingston mouse drivers (don't have that mouse) and the rest call and get a new CD.


I'm planning to call monday but im not sure if I'll have to pay them or not.....how does avid customer support work?

Just so anybody who has this problem knows, I did have to get a knew Pro tools installer so most likely its your disc if you have this problem.

thanks - i will try to get to the bottom of this, maybe a new installer will work...

Yea I called avid and got them to give me another installer download. Kinda hard to get someone to talk to w/o payin 60 bucks though.
