Re: Waves vs. customer rights
I'm sick of having to repay high prices again and again for the same plugins that are simply re-ported to work with the latest Protools. For me it was $1500-1700 for Waves Gold in 2000 for Mix+, then upgrade to Protools HD v 5.3.2 on OS9 in Sept 2002 - had to pay $450 for the same plugins. Now with Protools 6.4 and Waves Gold 5 they want $600. It'd be one thing if the plugins were really new but they're basically the same. And now I hear buggy. Rip off. I'm switching to McDSP.
