Pro Tools First - Can't open project - Update the software ?

I am using the free version of Pro Tools first 2018.7.0.

Last night I was working in a project. Went to bed and the next morning when I tried to open it, I get the error message about the lastest version of the project may have been uploaded by a newer version .. (see attached image).

Searching tells me I need to go to Avid Link and update Pro Tools there. On my computer, I believe this is the Avid Application Manager (I searched 'Avid' from the search bar of Windows 10).

As you can see from the attached image, there isn't an option to upgrade Pro Tools First. Trying to download this from the Avid website is a headache and keeps telling me to use my Avid account, or something. Really a headache.

Does anybody have any insight? This has happened to me before using Pro Tools First, where one day I can open a project and then the next day the warning that it was created using another version of PT, when I didn't make any updates at all.

Quick update: I just updated from v2018.7 to 2019.6 and continue to see the same error message.

Try opening PTF and signing out of your Avid account. Then restart PT and log back into your account. Things just may be out of sync and this re-sync things and allow you to open it.
