Hey

Welcome to the Forums

Have you installed the latest drivers for your specific fast track interface?

Drivers here:

M-audio fast track pro working under osx yosemite version 10.10.5 but with lots of bugs.

When the interface is first connected distorsions appear, when my macbook goes to sleep turning it back on somehow disables the audio interface, I need to reconnect it.

In logic pro distorsions appear when using vsts, on cubase however it worked decent.

This is kind of sad, I can't revert to an older os version which means I need to install everything again...

edit: my rig: macbook pro mid 2012 i7 8gb ram

what we have here? Awful support of the product. Still it was nice AudioInterface, but what the hell — avid or m-audio doesn't want to support it properly. Drivers doesnt work on El capitan ether.
What i'm gonna do? buy another avid product? Really? Are you sure?

The Fast Track devices were retained by Avid, so those arent on M-Audio to support.

It is always best to check that all of your hardware support any OS upgrades BEFORE upgrading, and doing a full backup before upgrading in case there are any problems.

All that said, I'll see if I can get a firm answer on driver development for these. While they are still within the "End of support" date, that doesn't necessarily mean they will get driver updates.

I have the same issue - little choice in upgrading OS but now Fast track pro is just a paper weight. It was a good bit of hardware and I can't find anything as good (for the money) to replace it.
Any chance of a driver????
