Record start with event..
Is there a way to have PT start recording as soon as a marker message is sent when tied in with venue link? Kind of like a standby that once you record enable the tracks, once it see a marker message that it will start recording. This way recording starts automatically. I know that you can do some MMC over midi, but it seems redundant to have a midi interface and cabling when you are already tied in over ethernet.

Re: Record start with event..
Not at this current time. However, I do have my desk setup to start/stop recording via midi when specific shapshots are fired. You can easily map those to an event to rcecall those snapshots, possibly a FN button or something along those lines. Pretty handy, so you do not have to remember to hit the spacebar when trying to manage everything else 45 seconds before show starts. Oof.
