Default Vocals: Mic Signal & Recording Problems Mini M-Box

Obtain maxed out signal on the vocal track when record enabling. Was able to record vocals recently, but somehow obtaining maxed signal and no output waveform when recording (though I do hear vocals when testing).

Using mini m-box with phantom power (M-Audio cartioid mic) and Mic/DI button pushed out. Currently on input 2 (input 1 is used alternately for recording keys).

Vocals are bussed to a reverb aux track...

The Mic input is #1 so you MUST use channel 1 to record the mic. Put your keyboard in channel 2.

Im having the same problem, only difference is it's on a stereo audio track for recording scratches from my Turntables. I open a new session and everythings fine, then close out and (sometimes) I can go back to working on recording scratches into the session, but mostly I add a new track, arm it and the levels peak, no audio is recorded, and there is a pop when it happens. I change absolutely nothing connection wise, and I hear the prviously recorded scratches on playback but no new ones can be added. Can someone help me out with this one or point me at a thread you know of... tried searching but came up empty...
