Default reFX Vanguard vs AIR Vacuum Pro

I was looking at the reFX Vanguard VI. From what I can tell, its not all that different in what it does from AIR Vacuum. What am I missing?

Hey

The Vanguard is a nice synth but a bit dated now and the sounds aren't all that great. Vaccum Pro is a bit more analog feeling BUT wait .. There is more

If you buy Vanguard for the price today you will have a free AAX64 bit update for Vanguard 2 which is coming out any day now and that will be a "Sylenth1" killer as it says so maybe if you want to have another sweet synth from reFX you should grab it now before the Vanguard2 lets loose. I have got 2 emails last week saying that it will be released "Very Soon" so maybe this week or next.

The stock sounds are pretty lame now but with a bit of tweeking the new Sound sets Vengeance Reloaded 1-2-3 released a month or two ago are really nice and have some cool presets for starting out from.

You should look at some youtube videos where die hard users have been going cray cray with awesome presets for Vanguard Well worth it and with the new version totally revamped coming it's a good VI investment. Nexus and Vanguard together sounds pretty cool with the old-ish analog and the new modern nexus sounds.

Best Regards
Christopher

Thanks for the info. So far I haven't heard anything that I can't recreate on Vacuum Pro. And VP sounds great.
