Default elastic time in PT8

hi protools users,

ive just jumped from LE 7.3 to LE PT8.

i was just wondering is there any difference between the functionality in elastic time 7.4 to elastic time PT8? (are all the 'buttons' the same?)

I could buy tut for elastic time 7.4 at a price i can afford, just wondering is it the same as PT8?

i know there are some tuts on the digi site but thought some more tuts might be .., well., more useful? More insights? (the dreaded fast track to knowledge).

any help is appreciated!

M:)

Between functionality there is only one main difference, the introduction of elastic pitch, otherwise all the same, but with updated algorithms, which leads to better results.

cheers, i figured the algorithms were better, so from what you are saying its no big jump. if you understand it in 7.4 you can get elastic pitch intuitively?
