Default Rebooting

I had this strange problem for the last week or so..
I shut down pro tools and windows in the normal way, -the next day when I start pro tools, I get this message;
"Pro Tools did not shut down correctly last time it was run. You will need to reboot your computer to run Pro Tools again"
This happens every day, and it is sooo annoying....
I have re-installed pro tools, but it was no difference.
Anyone experienced the same problem?

Exact OS and Pro Tools version?

I think this has been discussed here before.

A Leading suspect is third party plugins... plugins get to run when saving a session.

Trash prefs - try again.. (always try trashing prefs first.)

Just whack everything and see move all .aaxplugins out of the plugin folder. Start Pro Tools. Try opening that session again and exiting.

Failing that I might suspect a corrupted session somehow tripping up Pro Tools... does this happen with all session? New empty sessions? If no session is opened at all?

Spot on, thank you. It was the last ampsim plugin that was the cause. I should have imagined.
Removed it, and problem seems to be gone!!

Great! Try a clean reinstall of that, and if it happens again please report to the plugin vendor.

Good idea. Nice plugin, the Archentype Plini. Only a demo, so I think I pass :)
