Default ??? Re; MacBook Pro

I've been running Protools 10 on my Mid 2012 15" Macbook Pro since mid 2012...

It's my secondary DAW.. But I like it & use it because it's a MacBook & not my 27" IMac.. The portability of the MacBook makes it useful..

Anyhow... The Magic Trackpad hasn't been working well so I decided to replace it with a new one that I got from IFixit.com.. I checked everything as thoroughly as I could thank of. Year, Model. etc.. Everything seems to be right about the new replacement Trackpad...

I followed instructions & everything went smoothly.. After it was all back together I tried to use the Computer but the Magic Trackpad Cursor doesn't move..

Any thoughts on what the cause might be & how I can remedy would be appreciated..

I'm happy to provide more info if necessary..

Thanks

I'd start by opening it back up and redo the connections of the trackpad.

OK... I've tried that 3 separate times.. I contacted IFixit.com & they're sending me another. The first one I got from them could be defective??? I don't know??

But, they sure are good to deal with!

They ssuggested I try an old school wired Mouse.. I did & it works fine.. If it ends up I have to use that I'll be ok.. At least it's working now..

Thanks
