File Permissions / Networked Drives
We've been getting file permission "errors" in opening large sessions. Mainly (I think) stemming from the dub stage servers. Apparently there is an applescript that fixes file permissions but it doesn't work when our drives are back in our edit rooms. I imagine that there are instructions peculiar to the server drives.
Anyway - is there a way to AVOID the issue altogether? I'm not savvy on WHY it happens. It does seem to happen consistently when we copy stems from the dub stage servers. It also seems to occur with the OMF's (which originate from the editor) as well. Thanks for any help scott
